IMEVA was founded in the second half of the 60s by its founder Pellegrino Varricchio, formerly owner-manager of an important enterprise specialized in installing air and underground electric lines, of medium/high tension. The new enterprise was founded to produce steel items, complementary to the activity of the main firm, such as : pylon poles, hooks, terminals, clips, brackets etc.
In the 70s, the active, far-sighted and full of ideas businessman foresaw the important potentialities of the market concerning the creation of great road networks, so he organized the Company to realize a new product line such as road security steel barriers and corrugated plate tubular manufactures.
A long time has elapsed since then and generation is changed too, but passion, seriousness and devotion are still faithful to the founder's spirit.
